How to Book Your Burro

First, you will want to check with your venue to make sure they are comfortable with beverage burros; we are continually working with venues to show them how fun and unique a beverage burro can be and what great publicity and wedding party inspiration it can be. If a venue has questions, our event planner would be happy to speak with them. We prefer indoor and outdoor spaces as the beverage burros have “bun bags” to catch any manure, we come fully prepared to clean any issues that arise in case of an oops, but we can’t guarantee they won’t urinate. So, we ask that they only be indoors for a maximum of (1) hour to minimize this.

If your venue gives you the go-ahead, fill out the booking form at the bottom of this page with your dates and information to see if we have availability. We can do several donkeys at your event depending on handler availability. We can only expect the donkeys to stay for 1.5 hours maximum unless we discuss other arrangements. Your date will not be reserved until after we receive your signed contract and 50% non-refundable booking deposit.

Once the deposit and contract is received, your date is reserved in the books. The contract will specify what you want the donkeys to distribute, florals, sinage and any special requests. Full payment is due 30 days prior to the event and is non-refundable. Refunds are only available if the Beverage Burro has to cancel due to weather, roadway conditions, or donkey illness. The client/vendor will be responsible for supplying all beverages and ice, as well as party favors and promotional items.

We will be in contact with your planner/coordinator before your event to make sure we know where we will pick up your items when we arrive. On the event day, we will arrive 30 to 45 minutes before our scheduled time to dress up the donkeys and pick up your items.

NOTE: The donkeys are living, breathing animals with their own minds, and there are no guarantees about their behavior or willingness to stand for photos, but they are trained, friendly, loving, docile animals that are accustomed to noises, people, music, etc. They are almost always very pleasant and happy to pose with everyone.
